How it usually works

In most cases you apply at an Afghan embassy or consulate, with your passport, photos, a form and an invitation letter. The invitation letter is the part travellers worry about, and it’s the part we provide for you.

What you’ll need

• A passport valid for at least six months.

• A couple of passport photos.

• The application form.

• Our invitation letter, which we send once your trip is booked.

• The visa fee (we’ll tell you the current amount).

How long it takes

Processing times vary, so we tell you when to start the moment your trip is booked, to be sure it’s ready in good time.
