Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo (Tana) → Flight to Diego Suarez (Antsiranana)

Arrival at Ivato Airport. Depending on the arrival time of your international flight, enjoy a quick tour of the capital or proceed directly to your domestic flight to Diego Suarez (about 1.5–2 hours). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free: explore the lively colonial town, stroll along the beaches of the bay, or simply relax with views over the turquoise waters.

Overnight in Diego Suarez.

Day 2: Montagne d’Ambre National Park (Joffreville)

Early morning departure for Joffreville (about 1 hour’s drive). Full day exploring this lush mountain rainforest park. Hikes to beautiful waterfalls (including the sacred Cascade Sacrée), with excellent chances to spot crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs, colorful birds, and tiny chameleons. The misty forest atmosphere is magical. Return to Diego Suarez in the late afternoon.

Overnight in Diego Suarez.

Day 3: Red Tsingy + Transfer to Ankarana

Morning excursion to the Red Tsingy (about 2.5–3 hours from Diego Suarez). Marvel at this dramatic red canyon with its striking eroded sandstone formations — a truly otherworldly landscape perfect for photography and a short hike. Afternoon: continue south to Iharana Bush Camp (or a similar lodge) near Ankarana National Park (additional 1.5–2 hours).

Overnight in the heart of the wild bush.

Day 4: Ankarana National Park – Tsingy and Caves

Full day dedicated to exploring Ankarana National Park. Hikes and climbs among the sharp limestone tsingy formations, visits to impressive caves (Mandresy Cave, Chameleon Cave, the Cathedral, etc.). The karst scenery is breathtaking, with varied wildlife including lemurs. Choose circuits according to your fitness level.

Overnight near Ankarana.

Day 5: Ankarana → Ankify → Boat to Nosy Komba

Morning: light activity in Ankarana if time allows, then drive to Ankify (about 3.5–4 hours). Boat crossing (45 min to 1 hour) to Nosy Komba, the famous “Lemur Island.” Afternoon: magical close encounters with friendly lemurs in a lush tropical setting. Explore the island, visit the village, and enjoy possible snorkeling.

Overnight on Nosy Komba (more authentic and wild atmosphere than Nosy Be).

Day 6: Nosy Komba → Nosy Be (The Island of Perfumes)

Morning free on Nosy Komba (hike, beach, or kayak). Then short boat transfer to Nosy Be. Settle into your beach hotel (Ambatoloaka, Andilana, or a quieter area depending on your preference). Afternoon: relax on white-sand beaches with turquoise waters.

Overnight in Nosy Be.

Days 7 & 8: Nosy Be – Beaches, Snorkeling & Nearby Islands

Two full days to enjoy Madagascar’s premier beach destination.

Possible activities:

• Snorkeling or diving on vibrant coral reefs.

• Day excursion to Nosy Tanikely (protected marine reserve — excellent snorkeling + lemurs).

• Optional trip to Nosy Iranja for a more remote island experience.

• Explore Nosy Be: vanilla and ylang-ylang plantations, Hell-Ville market, or simply beach time and sunsets. Adapt according to your mood — more relaxation or more excursions.

Overnights in Nosy Be.

Day 9: Nosy Be – Free Day or Optional Activity

Last full day on the island.

Options include :

• a relaxing beach day,

• or spa/massage,

• or a visit to Lokobe National Park (the last primary forest on Nosy Be) for more nature.

Overnight in Nosy Be.

Day 10: Nosy Be → Flight back to Antananarivo

Morning free (beach or relaxation) depending on your flight schedule.

Transfer to Nosy Be Airport and domestic flight to Antananarivo.

Connect with your international departure the same evening or overnight in Tana if needed.
